One of the mysteries of running an Airshow was how Avalon's commercial flights might be dealt with. It turned out that these 'commercial operations' continued per their flight schedule, so the Airshow spectacle would be paused to allow, say, a Jetstar flight to land or depart. Not too difficult given the small number of commercial flights.
