A theme through the January evenings had been watching the Big Bash matches on television. Although the tournament rumbled on a bit, the two semi finals were both entertaining games, and the results meant that the winner would be one of the two Melbourne teams - what’s not to like? That meant I was able to head up to Marvel Stadium for the final, where my preferred team, the Renegades took victory after a stunning collapse by the Stars.
