Not The Same

In 2003, at the second time of asking, I was able to experience Concorde – another excuse to visit New York, this time with my girlfriend, a newcomer to the city. I was glad to cover some of the same old territory, but in the wake of 9/11, the downtown district no longer left one awestruck. Literally, there was something missing.
