For years, I had wanted to get to an airshow, and now the opportunity finally arose, as Avalon hosted the Australian International Airshow, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest airshow. On a scorching hot day, with the sun relentless, there was a variety of aerial entertainment, from acrobatics, to roaring jets, to the graceful night moves of the glider show.
